Vanessa Bling happy for Cardi B endorsement
Dancehall artiste Vanessa Bling is on cloud nine, following a huge endorsement from Billboard chart-topping hip-hop artiste Cardi B.
Cardi B, who got engaged late last month to her boyfriend, hip-hop artiste Offset, used Bling’s popular hit, Everything Fi Hold Him, to show off her US$500,000 US. dollar ring.
In the process of showing off her new ‘rock’, Cardi B exposed Vanessa Bling’s music to her more than 12 million followers on Instagram.
Vanessa Bling obviously ecstatic about the exposure, reposted the video on her official page, tagging Cardi B and congratulating her on her engagement.
When The STAR reached out to Bling for a comment on the endorsement, she revealed that Cardi B has always been a fan of her music and described the Bodak Yellow singer as a "real girl".
“Cardi B always support my music even before she buss and get big in the music business,” she said. “I rate her and love how she’s a true hustler. She’s a real girl and I’m glad for her. I love how she never give up and always kept pushing for greatness.”
Cardi B is currently in Jamaica shooting a music video for a new song. She has been seen on videos circulating on social media in the company of internationally acclaimed producer Rvssian.
Bling, who has been off the island for the past few weeks, is currently wrapping up her tour of Europe. Having visited different cities in countries such as France, Germany and Switzerland, Bling described the experience as an exciting one.
“All the shows have been great. The journey was exciting but humbling at the same time and I’m just giving God thanks for everything.”
When quizzed about new music, Bling revealed that she would have a new single called Fire Brigade, which would be coming out soon. Produced by Markus Records, the new track will showcase a new side of her, she hinted.
