Maestro Don regrets hitting selector

Dancehall artiste Maestro Don says he regrets slapping a selector after they were involved in a fracas in Portmore last week.

"It was just a likkle misunderstanding, a likkle scuffle thing, it was just a misunderstanding between me and a selector," Maestro Don said.

He told THE STAR that several things led to him confronting the disc jockey.

"It was our event, and long story short, him neva mek me feel comfortable inna my owna event. At the same time, mi nuh too condone weh happen, it just that it neva did fi reach deh suh," he told THE STAR.

"A just the vibes inna di party still, him just probably provoke a thought inna mi and the feeling was kinda overbearing. The thing kinda escalate a certain way weh it neva need fi reach," he added.

Maestro Don said that he and the selector are in the process of making amends following the melee, which brought the event to an end.

"We nuh really meet face to face yet but we talk. Wi reach out to him and mek him know a wah really happen," he said.
