Organisers were aiming for a bigger event, and that's exactly what they got as more patrons turned up for the Heroes Weekend edition of breakfast party, Morning Bliss.

After a successful Independence Day staging back in August, the organisers said that they were hoping to get a larger turnout this time around. Despite the inclement weather, they managed to pull that off.

Held at Lysson Beach in St Thomas on Monday, the event drew out hundreds of patrons who were hoping to make most of their extended weekend.

Jr Bloodline, one of the organisers, told THE STAR that having identified areas that they needed to improve on from the previous staging, he and his team pulled out all the stops to ensure patrons were even more pleased with the event's execution.

BIGGER CROWD

"We saw where we could improve on a number of things, especially as it related to customer service at the bar and food stations. We had some complaints about how long persons had to wait to get food and drink, and with the bigger crowd anticipated, we made sure to hire more persons on the ground to help serve," he said.

"We are happy with what the event turned out to be. We had a lot more persons turning up, and based on the feedback we've received, they enjoyed themselves, and that's what it's all about."

ZJ Liquid, Supa Hype, Team Shella and Ikel Marvlus were responsible for entertaining the crowd from their turntables, and according to the organisers, they did well to keep people dancing until the event ended.

Jah Vinci, Pamputtae and Jada Kingdom provided the live entertainment, and they were well-received by the crowd.
