As Halloween draws closer, Jamaica is expected to join in on the scary festivities with Boo at the Zoo scheduled for Hope Zoo tomorrow. The party, which is also a charity event, is expected to be 'spook-tacular' as a number of games and other fun activities have been planned.

This year, attendees will be taken through a range of experiences with the Fairy Tale Trail, Dilly Dally Rides, the Mad Scientist Lab, and Critter Island. Other attractions such as the Spooky Maze, Zombie Island and the Haunted House are expected to draw a huge crowd as participants test their level of bravery and endurance. Other features include a thriller dance-off competition and live performances. Guests whose costumes stand out will be eligible for prizes as there is a reward for the most creative costume design.

Valrie Brown, general manager at Hope Zoo, encouraged persons to come out to Boo at the Zoo. She expressed that with the event now in its fifth year, patrons are guaranteed a good time.

"Boo at the Zoo is an amazing experience for all ages, and we are ecstatic about its fifth staging. Come out and enjoy the fun and wonderful surprises we have in store for all attendees," she said.

Tickets for the event are on sale at Party Experience, Fontana Pharmacy, Liguanea Drug and Garden, Baby Bop, and Candy Craze for $1,200 apiece. At the gate, tickets will cost $1,500. A gate prize of a trip for two to Miami, Florida, will be up for grabs.
