German producer DJ Densen is optimistic that his latest roots rock reggae juggling rhythm, 'Stick With You', will resonate with fans even though he believes that the genre does not have the attention of listeners right now.

He reasoned that mainstream attention has shifted towards other genres, leaving it somewhat overlooked in the global music landscape, but is undeterred by this trend. With his deep appreciation for the genre's rich history and profound influence, he saw an opportunity to breathe new life into it.

The nine-track rhythm is a collaborative effort with Oneness Records and has already produced six singles, including Yakta's Serenity, Tatik's Far Away, and Kumar of Raging Fyah with the title track. Densen, who is no stranger to producing reggae rhythms, explained that there are differences with his latest effort that he hopes listeners gravitate towards.

"I would say it's the most rootsy one I think, and maybe it's not the right time for it to drop, or maybe it's the right time. I'm not sure because it's a slower production than the uptempo stuff, but it kinda has a hip-hop touch," he said.

Densen also explained that the project gives listeners the opportunity to hear two of reggae's newest talents on a roots rock reggae rhythm, which, for some listeners, may be the first time.

"For example, Yaksta and Tatik, who are really young and fresh, do a lot of trap dancehall. But now they are on a roots riddim with some conscious lyrics. So, for me, this is something I would like to highlight because it was really interesting to hear these voices. I was happy to see that these guys were very open to try," he reasoned.
