The gun attack left him paralysed, but the artiste is determined to walk again. Rygin King has been hyping up the event on his social media platform, urging fans to come out and enjoy his first performance in Florida since 2020.

This Saturday's stage show will be the genesis to the Bounce Musik Festival Tour, which will make stops in Stone Crest, Georgia, in September; Queens, New York, in October; Hartford, Connecticut, in December; followed by St Maarten and Jamaica in March and July 2025.

Bounce Musik Festival, formerly known as Galiday Bounce, started in Galdiez's home town of Linstead, St Catherine, more than two decades ago. Due to its growth over the years, Galdiez had to relocate the event to Priory Beach, St Ann. Over the years, it has featured some of dancehall's finest acts, including Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Aidonia, Sizzla, Tommy Lee Sparta and Iba Mahr.

Hosted by social media influencer Wally British, Bounce Musik Festival will be held at The Gordon on Fairmount Street in Orlando, Florida. Foota Hype, Chromatic Live, Gsixx Sound, and Hollywood Hype are a few of the selectors scheduled for the line-up.
