Demopage ready to rock the world
Dancehall artiste Demopage is bouncing back from a massive heart attack in 2023 and is now going full throttle with his music career.
"Having such a health scare let me realise how sacred life is, and that things can change in the blink of an eye," he told THE STAR.
"As a result, mi a make most of mi life and just a record like crazy. It's like every day mi write a song -and songs whe make sense too, because mi entire outlook on life change. Some of what use to excite mi don't any more, and people will notice dat in the songs mi put out and the way mi perform on stage."
The Florida-based deejay recently lit up the Majestic Event Center in Orlando, sharing the stage with dancehall sensation Kraff. He described his set as short, spicy, and well-received.
"The people dem love the vibe, and mi always feel good fi represent for Jamaica anywhere I am. Every salute whe mi get from the song dem is a blessing to me. I feel like the work I am putting in is paying off steadily. The money may not be coming like how I would anticipate, but I am very appreciative of the support. I am doing this all by myself-- no manager or anyting, so mi proud," he said.
Demopage thrilled fans with hits like 'Cheat On', 'Cah Style Mi' and 'Do It', and is now pushing one of his latest singles, 'F Pony Yuh'. The Portmore-born deejay, who moved to the US over a decade ago, is also gearing up for a long-awaited return to Jamaica.
