'The word of God, led me to Christ'

HOW LONG SINCE SAVED: I have been saved since 1989, 26 years ago.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR MOMENT OF CONVICTION: I was led to Christ by the word of God. My father was a deacon in the church and my mother was an active member. I spent my early days in church and by hearing the word of God I became convicted and decided to surrender my life to God.

MOST CHALLENGING MOMENT SINCE SAVED: My most challenging time since being saved was last year. I hit rock bottom, financially. It was very tough for me and my family. It was really a true test of character, Christianity and spirituality, knowing you are serving God and, although you are working things were not working, out the way you want them to. It was really challenging for me and my family.

MOST MIRACULOUS MOMENT SINCE BEING SAVED: In 2011 my three-year-old son fell from upstairs a school building, falling into a concrete trench. When I ran down to pick him up, his body was almost lifeless. The miracle was that when he fell he suffered no broken bones or any cut whatsoever. There was not even a scrape on him. I said to my wife, who was there, that he was dead. Somebody said I should take him to the doctor. Right away I got into my car. While I was on my way I kept praying. when I reached the doctor's office, the doctor instructed me to get him to the hospital immediately. I prayed all the way to the hospital. At one point in the journey the Spirit said to me that I should pray no more. Shortly after, I heard him made a sound. Someone told me he would have spent a long time in the hospital. He came out after nine days. I was also told that I should give myself six months for him to recover and, if he did not come around in six months, he would not recover. In less than a month, he was up and talking. He is a grown boy now, very active and has shown no sign of deformity or anything like that. That was, indeed, a miracle.

MESSAGE TO CHRISTIANS: Things of the world right now will distract and cause you to feel like giving up. I want you to hold on. If there is ever a time we need the Lord is now.

MESSAGE TO NON-CHRISTIANS: We are in the last days. Signs of the times are everywhere. Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.
