STAR of the Month: Fun facts with Yanique

STAR: Have you travelled extensively?

Yanique: Yes I have, but just within the Caribbean really - Bermuda, Barbados, Haiti. But I want to go to Bora Bora! I can't believe I'm putting it out there! Bora Bora, that's my dream spot.

STAR: Are there any TV shows you keep up with?

Yanique: The Real. I love The Real. I like talk shows, most of them. And plus, I love BBC. Anything I can get ideas and information from, I tend to keep up with that. And I don't mind reality shows as well.

STAR: What kind of music are you listening to mostly now?

Yanique: A whole heap of dancehall. I love Work by Rihanna! But the music I'm listening to currently right now is called dembow from Santo Domingo. It's like a mix between a sort of heavy beat and drums. I'm so in love with it.

STAR: Is there anyone in any industry you would love to work with? Dead or alive?

Yanique: BeyoncE. I like how she keeps her private life private. And when time yuh tink she boring, she jus' lick yuh wid sumn weh mek yuh seh, "Oh my God! She's a freak!" But everything that she does is calculated. Mi love har.

STAR: Is there any media personality you admire and aspire to match or surpass?

Yanique: Oprah! I would so love to work with Oprah because Oprah is just good when it comes on to talk shows, and she's like the richest black woman ever! So, why not Oprah? I would love to pick her brain, have her mentor me.
