In the final stretch of Devin Di Dakta's run as Star of the Month, the 2017 Grammy-nominated artiste took to the streets of Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, to meet with his fans.
About an hour after schools had adjourned, Half-Way Tree Transport Centre was filled with youngsters, who immediately recognised the young star.
"Mi ah guh hang di inna my room," one schoolgirl announced as she walked happily away with her autographed poster.
Another teenaged schoolgirl came by for a hug from the artiste, carrying with her a crumpled newspaper ad with Devin's face, a memento kept for the past few months.
Devin Di Dakta didn't just attract the attention of commuting primary and secondary students. Among the hoard of fans reaching and bickering for their own poster were women of varied age groups. There were even a few male fans who wanted their memorobilia.
