The Manchester police are yet to establish a motive for the killing of two sisters in the parish on Tuesday. However, they say there have been many speculations and they are not ruling out any.

Thirty-one-year-old Tashi Foster and her sister, 28-year-old Dionne Foster, were found shot dead in their Comfort district home, about 1:40 p.m., on Tuesday.

Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron Powell, who heads the Manchester police division, told THE STAR that there have been numerous speculations, but they will continue to investigate thoroughly.

gun runnings

"It's still early time now, it would not be good investigation ethics to narrow down to one particular claim," she said.

"We have been hearing about gun runnings, drug runnings, scamming, everything you can think of that is illegal. We are keeping everything in the pool while we conduct our proper investigations."

The police are urging anyone with information in relation to the double homicide to contact the Mandeville Criminal Investigation Bureau at 962-6516, 119, or the nearest police station.
