Cops seek help identifying body

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a male believed to be in its 20s that was found in Long Bay district, St James yesterday.

The body is of brown complexion, slim build, about 173 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) long and a tattoo of three stars on the right hand. It was clad in a khaki shirt, black jeans pants and a pair of red and blue sneakers.

Reports from the Barrett Town police are that about 6 a.m., residents discovered the body and summoned them. On their arrival, the body was seen lying on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. The scene was processed and it was removed to the morgue.
