Following their outstanding performance at last year's Schools' Drama Festival of Jamaica, several high-school students were selected to represent Jamaica at the upcoming Caribbean Secondary Schools' Drama Festival in Trinidad and Tobago, set for November 1 to 8.

The Jamaican delegation includes six students from St. Catherine High School, which won the Best Production Award at the local Festival. Completing the list are Saskia Bryan and Nardia Scott of St. Hugh's High School, Jadon-John Barton-Williams of Ardenne High School and Melessa Vassell and Brianna Miller of Bridgeport High School in St Catherine.

Jamaica's entry to the regional festival is an abridged version of the colourful Jamaican folk comedy Jonkanoo Jamboree.
