Body not photographer's

The family of missing photographer and operator of nickfotoworks.com, Niketa Thomas, were relieved yesterday following an autopsy on a body that was fished from the Sandy Gully on Wednesday.

The post-mortem exercise has concluded that the body is not that of the missing photographer.

A family member said: "Its not him, we just have to continue to pray and hope for the best".

There was heavy speculation that the body found in Seaview Gardens in Kingston was Thomas'.

A photograph that made the rounds on the Internet and through social media had many on edge.

Persons were of the view that the deceased male in the picture was clad in a jersey similar to the one Thomas supposedly went missing in.

Thomas and his cousin, Dwight Brown, have been missing since Monday, October 5.
