MoBay murder accused get March court date
Three St James men, who are charged with the December 2014 shooting death of Glendevon resident Melbourne 'Bernie' Plummer, will stand trial in the St James Circuit Court on March 29.
The accused, Brandon Stora, Andre Simpson and Prince Marston, were given the trial date and had their bails extended when they appeared in court on Monday.
Stora and Marston are represented by attorney-at-law Henry McCurdy, while Simpson is represented by attorney Charles Sinclair.
Their case experienced a brief delay when they appeared before presiding High Court Justice Bertram Morrison, as McCurdy was late to attend the court session.
However, the new trial date was eventually handed down and the men's bails were extended.
The allegations are that on December 31, 2014, Plummer had made arrangements to have his hair done at a barbershop.
During that visit, he was shot by gunmen and later died at hospital.
Stora, Simpson and Marston were subsequently charged following police investigations.
