Man caught stealing at police station

January 23, 2018

A man who went on the compound of the Constant Spring Police Station and stole items from a motor vehicle will be sentenced later this month. However, his co-accused awaits his fate in the matter.

Charged with simple larceny are Kevin Isaacs and Wayne Bryan.

When the matter was called up in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court last Friday, Isaacs pleaded guilty while Bryan said not guilty.

The men are accused of stealing two back lights and a radio from a car that was parked at the station.

Isaacs had been in custody since December 4 while Bryan was out on bail.

Parish Judge Chester Crooks requested the criminal records for Isaacs.

The court was told that further statements in the matter are outstanding.

The men are to return to court on January 25 where Isaacs will be sentenced and Bryan’s matter will be mentioned.

Isaacs was remanded until then and a fingerprint was order made.
