Nine vehicles crash in Mobay

Police and Jamaica Fire Brigade personnel had their hands full on Tuesday afternoon following a nine-vehicle crash involving a fire truck, at the intersection of Market and King Streets in downtown Montego Bay.

The drama unfolded at approximately 2:15 p.m. when the fire truck, which was coming up Market Street from the direction of Sam Sharpe Square, slammed head-on into a grey Mini Cooper Countryman vehicle, which was passing through the intersection from the direction of King Street.

Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties, although the drivers were taken to hospital.
