Suspected suicide in St Mary

A man who allegedly ingested ethylene, died in hospital yesterday morning. Byron Williams, 55, otherwise called 'Pirate', of Rose End district, St Mary is suspected to have committed suicide at his home on Monday.

Reports are that about 8 p.m., Williams was at home when he allegedly ingested ethylene.

He was taken to hospital where he was receiving treatment; however he succumbed about 6:20 a.m., yesterday.

Investigations continue.
