Taximan shot in leg in New Kingston

Andre Johnson, a taxi operator who plys the Half Way Tree to New Kingston route, was shot and injured this afternoon along Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston. 

The 34-year-old was shot in the leg, allegedly by a policeman, during an incident where he was accused of parking illegally.

Cops on the scene declined to comment. More details to come.
