60-y-o taximan charged with rape

The police have arrested and charged 60-year-old Roy Allen, a taxi operator from Watson Hill in Manchester, for the abduction and rape of a 16-year-old girl last year.

It is reported that the teen boarded Allen's taxi in Junction, St Elizabeth on December 24.

It is further reported that after he dropped off the other passengers, it is alleged he drove on an off route in a dirt lane where he forcibly removed the teen's clothes and raped her.

A report was made to the police and following investigations, the suspect was picked up and subsequently charged with rape and forcible abduction.
