Highway 2000 toll rate hike coming

Toll rate increases are coming for motorists who use Highway 2000.

The proposed new rates are set to go into effect next week Saturday, July 6.

The operator of the highway will continue to offer discounts to T-Tag drivers.

Here are the proposed new toll rates: 

Portmore Toll Plaza

Class 1 
Current rate: $340
Proposed New Rate: Remains at $360
T-Tag Discount Rate: $350

Class 2
Current rate: $610
Proposed new rate: $660
T-Tag Discount Rate: $630

Class 3
Current rate: $1,020
Proposed new rate: Remains at $1,090
T-Tag discount rate - $220

Spanish Town Toll Plaza 

Class 1
Current rate: $255
Proposed new rate: $270
T-Tag Discount Rate: $260

Class 2
Current rate: $430
Proposed new rate: $470
T-Tag Discount Rate: $440

Class 3
Current rate: $750
Proposed new rate: $800
No T-Tag discount
