Identity of man killed in East Kingston revealed

The police have identified the man who was fatally shot in East Kingston on Monday.

Deceased is 30-year-old Marcus Godfrey, otherwise called 'G Money', a maintenance worker of Oliver Road, Kingston.

Reports are that about 7:15 a.m. Godfrey was along Glasspole Avenue when explosions were heard.

Lawmen were summoned and Godfrey was found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was declared dead.

The Elletson Road Criminal Investigation Branch is carrying out a probe in the matter.
