St James police seize 57 rounds of ammunition during patrol

Police attached to the St James division have seized 57 rounds of ammunition during an operation on Sunday.

Reports from the Montego Bay police say that about 7:15 a.m., during the patrol by lawmen an abandoned building was searched. 

A bottle concealed in a cellar was found containing 43 5.55millimetre rounds and 14 9millimetre rounds.

No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

Investigation continues.
