The tournament, which according to Couples chief executive officer, Glenn Lawrence, was resounding success, raised a total of $1.5M for various charities.

These include the Negril Health Centre, Grange Hill Primary School and Montego Bay Animal Haven.

"This was our 10th Annual Charity Tournament in Negril and we are pleased that we were able to raise the most money this year J$1.5M, and also have one of the highest turn out of players, with 56 golfers participating,'' Lawrence said.

"In addition, the winning scores were very close, which means this was a very competitive Tournament."
