Two-time Olympic 100m champion, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce, will continue her comeback to competitive action at the Racers Grand Prix this weekend at the National Stadium, meet officials have confirmed.

Star Sports understands that the diminutive athlete was given the go ahead to compete at the meet by her coach Stephen Francis after a decent effort at the Cayman Invitational meet last Saturday.

Fraser- Pryce ran 11.33 for second behind American Jenna Prandini, who will also be in the race on Saturday. Prandini stopped the clock at 11.16 seconds. Fraser-Pryce had previously run 11.52 seconds at an All- Comers meet last month.

The three time World championship 100m winner has sighted running under 10.70 seconds as the main reason for her return to track and field.

Star Sports also understands that reigning World champion, Tori Bowie, who was the main headliner in the women's 100m before the addition of Fraser-Pryce, has pulled out of the meet due to injury.

Fraser-Pryce will also have to contend with rising star Briana Williams who will be competing with the big girls as she gets ready for the World Under-20 Championship in July.

Commonwealth Games silver and bronze medallists, Christania Williams and Gayon Evans, respectively, are also down to compete in the race.

Fraser-Pryce times in the 100m over the past nine seasons.
