Having secured seven points from their last three games, assistant coach of Arnett Gardens FC Eugene Williams believes that his team is now hitting its stride in the 2018-19 Red Stripe Premier League season.

"We could have done better, but we got seven points out of a possible nine in the last three games, so we are thankful," said Williams.

Arnett Gardens went on a 19-game winning streak last season but have failed to go three games without losing this season, until now.

Williams said he is hoping that their recent success will ignite an extensive winning streak like the one last year.

"That run was special, and we hopefully can repeat that," he said.

Williams, who was in charge of the team for the past two weeks while head coach Jerome Waite was away with the national Under-20 team, said he is hoping to continue the run when his charges travel to eastern Kingston to take on the struggling Harbour View FC in the Monday-night game, which will be aired live on TVJ.

"Harbour View is always a tough opponent for us, and we are not fooled by the way they have been playing," he said. "We have to focus and ensure that we get the three points."
