Following three straight home wins at the Drax Hall Complex, St Ann-based club Mount Pleasant have regained the love and confidence of their fans.

"The fans are hard to please," he noted. "St Ann fans on a whole from back then, they like winners. Jamaica like winners and if your team is not winning they will not feel comfortable and they will not give you the support they normally give. But for the last few games, we played three straight home games and got three wins and I think that kind of put them (fans) back on our side. That has been good for the team but the fans are hard to please."

The recent string of results has also excited captain Ladale Richie, who believes things are coming together at just the right time for the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) debutants.

"When we just started (season), we peaked but in the middle we fell down. We are peaking again right now at the right time, and it's a good showing of consistency going up to the play-offs. We think we just have to build on that and we can give a good performance in the play-offs," he said.

"The coach is always to push us. He always says he has a quality team and he is not worried and that once we gel and get it right, we are not going to have any problems," he said.

With normalcy now restored, Richie says they can regain their focus of historically winning the league in their debut season. "We have a shot at it( winning the league ).We just have to work hard. We are on a run and we will continue doing what we are doing and once we continue to do the right thing, win or lose, we will accept it," he said.
