The second set of games in the ISSA/TVJ Super 8 T20 competition will bowl off today with matches at two venues across the island.

In the feature game at Manchester High, double champions Excelsior High will look to put behind them their opening-round loss to Tacky High when they face off with St George's College who also suffered an opening-round defeat at the hands of St Elizabeth Technical (STETHS) .

Match number two will see hosts and rural T20 champions Manchester High looking to secure back-to-back wins when they face the Shane Brooks-coached Kingston College who lost a nail-biter in a super over to Clarendon College.

Excelsior will be looking to use the surface at Manchester High better as they could only post 92 for eight in their opening game against Tacky. National player Michael Clarke and David Dewar are expected to feature with the bat for the 'Eagles' with compatriots Tamarie Redwood and Demarco Scott expected to give a better account of themselves with the ball.

St George's will rely heavily on national player Geovanni Grey to come up trumps. Kingston College will be hoping for a better performance having virtually given away their game against Clarendon College. Kev'Aundre Virgo has been the mainstay of the batting and should once again provide most of the runs, while captain Brian Barnes has been inspirational with both bat and ball and should provide a test for the famed 'Purples.'

In the meantime, two other games will be played at St Elizabeth Technical with St Catherine High looking to avoid back-to-back defeats when they take on Clarendon College.

The second game of the doubleheader will see a very strong Tacky side squaring off against home team STETHS who also tasted victory in their opening fixture.

Match times are 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. with the doubleheader at Manchester set to be aired live on TVJ Sports network.
