Coach of Manning's School, Everton Tomlinson, reiterated his determination to go all the way in the ISSA/WATA daCosta Cup after a crushing 5-0 home win over Grange Hill High in Zone C of the competition yesterday.

In a match played on a water-logged field, Jodon Grey opened the scoring for the winners in the second minute. Kajaye Williams doubled the score in the 10th minute from the penalty spot and Manning's went further ahead in the 24th minute when Rajon McKenzie hit the back of the net. Jarvis Maylor joined the scoring party in the 34th and 51st minutes to seal the win.

"It is the team's objective to win every game in the first round. We intend to go all the way, keep a clean sheet as much as possible and remain on top of the zone. We played a disciplined game for the majority of the time," Tomlinson told STAR Sports.

"We have achieved our objective, second game at home, scoring a lot of goals so it is a plus. It was a good performance and they played a disciplined game for the majority of the time," he added.

Manning's remain perfect with their fourth win and 12 points atop Zone C. Grange Hill are third on six points.

Meanwhile, Grange Hill coach Junior Simister said his team lacked focus.

"The players' decision making needs to be spot on. Silly penalty, silly free kick, and we started slow. We need to know where to tackle and how to tackle, it is something we teach them in training. I won't be too hard on them because it is a young team and it my first time coaching in my life," Simister said.
