MoBay United gave a start to their 17-year-old goalkeeper, Carlyle Tinglin. Xavier Gilbert, the team's head coach, underscored the importance of exposing young talent to high-level competition, for the club's future.

"It's important for us to start getting the young talent involved, because I think they're gonna be massive for the club moving forward," said Gilbert.

"It is important we got young Carlyle Tinglin, a goalkeeper in the future for the club, and it's important that we start exposing this player at this level. Today was a perfect opportunity," added Gilbert.

As for 17-year-old Tingling, he shared his excitement about making his debut for the MBU team.

"I feel a sense of pride and fulfilment when called upon by the coach. It is a great feeling just being on the bench. On the field is an even better feeling. It is very important in the development stage to get exposure of how it is in the Premier League," said Tinglin.

Meanwhile, Wolry Wolfe, Spanish Town Police's coach said despite being on a downward trend and facing the possibility of relegation, he remains optimistic, emphasising the need to win and improve their position in the league.

"I don't think it's tough, I just think we just have to win and do our part and see how the rest of the league play out. We have two teams in front of us I think Molynes is one point and the other team is five points away. We just have to play and just don't give up," said Wolfe.
