Wife has STD and I didn’t give her

February 06, 2020

Dear Pastor,

I'm 48 years old. I have been married to this woman for 16 years. She is 55 years old and is living in the USA. We see each other often, like every three or six months. We don't have any children together. She is always accusing me of cheating or having sexual intercourse with other women, which I'm not doing.

My pals would joke at me about the situation, saying how I'm being faithful to a woman who is living overseas and I don't know what she is doing. But still, I believe her that she is not cheating. Lately, since her last visit, she was telling me that she has an STD. Now, pastor, tell me how does one get STD if one is not sexual active?

A.B.

Dear A.B.,

It is regrettable that this woman has been lying to you for such a long time by telling you that she does not have another man in her life, and that she is not having sex. She has surely made a fool of you. But don't be alarmed. Some women are just as good at lying as some men. And it has been proven time and time again that women are much more clever than men when it comes to lying and cheating.

You trusted this woman, and even when your friends teased you and called you a fool for trusting her, you did not pay any attention to what they have said. If this woman has STD and she didn't get it from you, she got it from someone else. So, I would suggest that you end the relationship with her forthwith.

You are only 48 years old, you can get another woman. Don't worry about the money you spent on her. Move on, my friend, she is not a good woman.
