'Gold medal' for Mikki Ras

Rastafarian dancehall artiste Mikki Ras is promoting one of his latest singles, 'Gold Medal'.

According to the entertainer, the track has been getting favourable responses since its release earlier this year.

"It's a song directed to the ladies. It's not one that speaks about lust, but more of admiration. There is nothing more beautiful than having a virtuous woman in your life. The ladies are liking it, and that is what matters the most, " he said.

Mikki Ras said that he is hoping that the track will be a favourite among lovers while increasing his fan base.

"Me just want the man dem love up dem woman pon da song here. I hope it will bring love in the household as well as get me some new fans," he said.

The visuals for the single were released earlier this week.

Mikki Ras hails from Clarendon. He is known for other singles such as Bag A Things, Gwan A School, and Rude Bwoy Skanking, a collaboration with Jah Cure.
