DJ duo making waves

DJ Schemeboss and DJ Principal are making moves in the field of entertainment, making them a much sought after and talked about selector and DJ duo.

Schemeboss, who hails from Waterford, Portmore, and Principal, from Red Hills, have been playing together for the past four years and have been making huge strides in their careers.

They attribute their success to their vibes and the connection they make with their audience.

"You have to make people love you, so no matter the crowd, we will always turn up. It is always about entertainment. No matter where we are playing, the energy is always there. Even if we are playing in a church, we know how to work with the people. That is just why people love us," said DJ Principal.

Currently they are the resident deejays of the nightclub Lucky 38 where you can find them most nights doing what they do best, which is charging up their audience.

In addition, they have had the opportunity of playing at various local gigs such as Wet Rush at Mas Camp, Ripples in Portmore and has even had the opportunity to play on the international market such as Cayman, Bahamas and Canada.

In Red Hills, they host an annual event called Road Race, a back-to-school affair, where they give away school supplies to the children of the community.

"It is always good to give back and so DJ Principal and I decided to take the time out every year to do this show. The youths are the future so we have to look out for them and I believe that we have that responsibility to them; so once we are in that position to help, we have to help," said DJ Schemeboss

Later on in this year, the duo will be trekking over to a few Caribbean countries for performances.
