Last year's Jamaica Women's Premier League champions Frazsiers Whip FC will be the only Caribbean representative in the inaugural Concacaf Women Champions Cup tournament. Frazsiers Whip qualified automatically for the competition's group stage.

Frazsiers Whip will be one of 10 clubs to compete in the Concacaf W Champions Cup group stage where the clubs will be divided into two groups of five. Each team will play every club in their group once, and at the end, the group winners and runners-up will advance to the semi-finals.

The draw for the group stages is set for June 6 with action scheduled to run from August 20 to October 17.

Seven clubs have already booked their spots in the competition with four slots remaining.

Along with Frazsiers Whip, the competition will also feature the United States of America clubs Portland Thorns FC, San Diego Wave FC and Gotham FC as well as Club Tigres from Mexico, Liga Deportiva Alajuelense from Costa Rica and Canadian outfit Vancouver Whitecaps.
