Spice and her new lover, Justin Budd, are currently on 'baecation' in Mexico, celebrating his birthday.

Budd, the executive producer of photography at JBudd Media Inc, a full-service media production company based in Atlanta, Georgia, is the first man showcased by the So Mi Like It deejay since her break-up with ex-fiance and father of her two children, Nicholas Lall, in 2015.

"I’m glad we started this journey, because you easily bring out the better version of me," Spice said in an Instagram post yesterday as she announced her new man, whom she described as "baby", to the world.

The post, which was accompanied by love-struck-esque pictures of the couple, one of which showed the couple lip-locked.

"Help me wish mi nice clean man Happy birthdayyyyy @jbuddmedia today belongs to you baby. I’m glad we started this journey, because you easily bring out the better version of me. Thank you for being such a great father figure to my kids and a awesome lover to me. Watch love over yah so.  Mi a skin out all weekend bye," she wrote on her social media pages.

The Queen of Dancehall has been hinting for months that she has a new man in her life, having declared on Twitter that 'who nuh have man before 2021, a bat'.

This is the first time since her break-up with Lall, who she was with for more than 10 years, that Spice has publicly announced that she is romantically involved.
Before yesterday's big reveal, Spice has always declared her 'singleness'.  In a STAR of the Month interview last January, Spice said that it was hard for her to be in a relationship as men are often intimidated by her success, and usually cannot handle her busy schedule.

"Even if I start dating, sometimes you may find that the man starts to complain about my time or lack of time ... . Anyone I talk to would have to be so understanding of what my career requires," Spice said at the time, as she described what she was looking for in a potential spouse.

"I can be very sarcastic and tend to tease, so any man thinking to be with me would have to have a thick skin. I would like to be with someone who has a sense of humour. Being the type of person that I am, a family-oriented woman that is protective of my children, I don't plan on bringing home someone that is going to end up disappearing. My children have a lot to do with me dating and I have to make sure I choose the right person before I bring him into my home around them, and all that."
