The 4th Genna recording artiste Jayds says he has plans to up his musical ante this year and is set to release a new project, titled Wet Dreams Vol. 2.

The EP is a follow-up on the compilation he dropped last summer. He told THE STAR that based on the reaction from his female audience when the first volume was released, he knew it was only a matter of time before he released part two.

"As an artiste and producer, I try to record consistently and diversify the subject matters on which I speak, because I don't want to be one-dimensional. But my streaming statistics show that it's the content relating to the ladies that get the most traction," he said. "Whenever I'm in the public space or even on social media, the ladies are always asking when am I going to do more songs for them. I decided it was time. You know we can't keep the ladies waiting any longer."

With the project now complete, Jayds says he has high hopes for the project. He says the 10-track EP, which is executive-produced by the 4th Genna Music imprint, is going to showcase his talent and make him a force to be reckoned with in dancehall.

"Every artiste has their lane. I have been doing a lot of recordings for the streets, along with some inspirational content, but the 'gyal tunes' are my thing and I embrace that," he said.

Although a definite release date has yet to be announced, Jayds reveals that an aggressive promotional campaign is now under way to gain even more traction for the EP.
