Jada Kingdom excites at West Igloo
Dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom heralded her return to the Jamaican stage with a sassy performance at West Igloo in St James on the weekend.
Donned in a sexy orange and black outfit, Jada Kingdom had patrons at the Catherine Hall venue singing along to some of her biggest hits.
"I haven't performed or headlined a show in Jamaica for a second, so I feel amazing," the Heavy artiste told THE STAR.
The hitmaker's performance captured the hearts and souls of the jam-packed audience, as partygoers latched on to every lyric she delivered.
Songs such as Good P***y Problems, Tek It, which was recorded with Skillibeng, and One Time had the crowd going wild and synchronised into the wee hours of Monday morning.
Jada Kingdom, too, was having fun. At one stage she took off her boots and shouted, "MoBay, mi love unnu!"
The patrons made Jada Kingdom feel loved as well. In addition to singing along to her songs, many attempted to get as close as possible to the stage, so that they could get to tough the artiste. Some persons even surrounded her vehicle, just for a chance to greet the Dickmatized singer.
"Mi love it!" one female patron said of the performance. "She do di ting dem. Honestly, mi shoulda spend mi money fi VIP, mi nah tell no lie, because wha mi see and how she shape, she gwan wid herself," the patron added.
Another patron, who struggled to speak due to being hoarse, said Jada Kingdom had she screaming and singing throughout the performance.
"Mi love her performance bad! Bad! Bad!"
