Two men dead in Hanover collision

The Hanover Traffic Department is investigating a vehicular collision on the Green Island main road that claimed the lives of two men Monday night.

Dead are 23-year-old Donavon Daley and 27-year-old Markino Buchanan, both mechanics from the Cauldwell area.

The Green Island Police say that about 9:30 p.m. Daley was riding a Cobra motorcycle with Buchanan as a pillion passenger when the motorbike collided with a Toyota Crown motor car travelling in the opposite direction.

Both men were flung from the vehicle and sustained multiple injuries.

They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
