Woman dies after being struck by coaster bus in St Elizabeth

The police are investigating the death of a woman who was struck by a Toyota coaster bus in St Elizabeth yesterday.

Dead is Kimberley Simpson of Goshen district in Santa Cruz.

Reports detail that about 9:45 p.m. Simpson was walking along a roadway when she was hit by the bus.

The woman was taken to the Mandeville Region Hospital where she succumbed to injuries.

The driver has been warned of prosecution.

The Santa Cruz Traffic Department is looking into the matter.
