Razor B says bye with encouraging words
It's our final feature for April's edition of the STAR of the Month, and it has been a fun, exciting journey with the multi-talented Razor B. Over the past few weeks, the entertainer has opened his heart and home to our news team and his many fans across the world.
For the grande finale, THE WEEKEND STAR decided to let Razor B choose a topic to talk about. Being the people person that he is, he decided to have a heart-to-heart with his fans about making mistakes and how to turn bad decisions into stepping stones for a better future.
"I can't believe it's really over. I enjoyed being STAR of the Month so much. I loved the fact that I got to open up to my fans about certain things and I really loved hearing the feedback. It was truly a pleasure and a blessing," he said, before diving into his topic.
He added, "For this feature I wanna be very real with my fans. I want to talk to them about decision - good ones and bad ones. First of all let me say this, we all make mistakes so never be ashamed of the choices you make, just ensure that when you make bad choices you learn from them and use them as a stepping stone to accomplish bigger and better things."
consequences
"A lot of people look at my life now and think it's a bed of roses, but I'm human like everybody else. I've made my fair share of mistakes and they have affected my life in many ways and I have had to live with the consequences of my actions. But I never allowed my mistakes to decide my future. I always took the bad choices as a lesson learnt and they've made me a better person today," he continued.
While explaining the importance of turning ones bad decisions into life lessons, Razor B also sought to let people know that the decisions they make not only affect them, so they must also think about those closest to them.
"Think about the choices you're about to make and how they will affect you and those around you. Although you can learn from your mistakes you can never undo things after they're done," he said.
The entertainer told THE WEEKEND STAR that he decided to speak on this particular topic in the hopes of encouraging someone who might be going through a hard time.
He also took the time to thank his mother for the hand she had in raising him, stating that whenever he made mistakes, she was the first to encourage him to do better.
"I won't be STAR of the Month when the world celebrates Mother's Day so I want to take use this opportunity to tell my mother that I love her. Mommy, thank you for the great job you did raising all six of us. I want you to know that I appreciate you and I will do anything to make you comfortable and happy. You are my rock and I just want you to know that," Razor B said.
