Exotic nightclubs seeks dancers

After searching The Gleaner Classifieds for job postings, our news team connected with entrepreneur, promoter and club consultant Jason Clark, who is seeking ladies desirous of reaping attractive financial awards while providing opportunities in pole dancing.

The classified advertisement posted called for 'club dancers ages 19-28' who 'want to work Barbados, Antigua, Tortola. The ad also stated that a passport is required, while plane fare and housing is provided.

"I represent the clubs. I am a consultant to the club owners, with investments in some. It is primarily pole dancing in highend clubs, it goes beyond the lap dances," said Clark. "At the moment, there are already certain dancers there at any time. So in the instance where there are professionals going to a particular club, I can put persons there without experience."

As a potential candidate, it is of worth to first assess your own level of fitness as persons in 'good shape' are most desired. According to Clark, being slim and toned goes a far way in the sphere.

CRITERIA

"Primarily slim figure," he explained. "In the Bahamas, they want primarily light skin but they don't have a complexion thing in the other islands."

Clark told THE STAR that it is not particularly important for candidates to possess passes at the Caribbean Examination Council level or otherwise. However, he did stress that experience is key.

"I would ask them about their experience. If they are not experienced, then they have to show a willingness to learn," he said. "They must also be available to travel. They need to have passports. It's an entertainment venture. There are some clubs that do things differently, but everybody has the same goal. To entertain (customers) and to make money."

Clark also referred to the job as "a once-in a-lifetime opportunity".
