Man held after a year on the run! - Absconded bail for chopping off cousin's hand
A St Catherine man who absconded bail more than a year ago after being charged for chopping off his cousin's hand was recaptured in Gregory Park in the parish last Sunday.
Adantic Pinnock, 35-year-old, from Gregory Park, was charged with chopping off the left hand of his cousin following a disagreement.
The Star was informed that on May 28, 2010, the cousin scolded a young relative for her rude behaviour. The child reportedly told Pinnock what happened and he confronted the cousin, whose hand was chopped off with a machete during a confrontation.
Pinnock was subsequently arrested and charged with felonious wounding. The case was mentioned in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court; however, in September last year, Pinnock, who was on bail, absconded and was on the run until he was recaptured on Sunday.
