No arrests made for murder of father, son

November 05, 2015

Up to late last night, detectives from the Montego Bay Police Station said they are yet to arrest anyone in connection with the death of a father and his one-year-old son on Jackson Road in Flamstead, St James, yesterday.

Dead are 31-year-old farmer Kemoy Green of Jackson Town in the parish and his son Alljay Green.

Reports are that about 8:50 a.m., residents were alerted to the sound of explosions in the community and went to investigate. Concerned residents were faced with the chilling discovery of Green lying on the roadway clutching the toddler. Both Green and his son had been shot multiple times.

No motive has so far been established for the attack, but the police are now appealing to persons to come forward with information.

Since the incident, graphic images of the aftermath of the gruesome attack have been circulating on several social media networks. While some persons have objected to the images of the deceased father and son being posted, others offered their condolences.

One user wrote: " Father God come for your world, this is nonsense, too many of us dying , I'm tired of crying".
