Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in the other shootings that also took place on Tuesday night that resulted in three other persons being shot dead and seven injured, including a six-year-old boy who is currently hospitalised.

Head of the St James police, Senior Superintendent of Police Marlon Nesbeth, is pleading with citizens in the parish to come forward with information that can help the police to nab criminals.

"We are appealing to persons within the area who have information on these individuals to assist us in how to get these guys. We are doing a lot of work around them, and we just need the help," Nesbeth said.
