Partygoer held with gun

A partygoer is now in custody after the Clarendon police raided an event during an operation in the wee hours of Monday morning and found a gun.
The Corporate Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force said that a about 4:30 a.m., police attached to the May Pen Police Station were conducting an operation in Stewarton district in the parish and wandered into the party.
It is reported that they saw a man acting suspiciously and accosted the man. A 9mm pistol containing an empty magazine was found.
He was subsequently taken into custody, but his identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
