Brothers murdered in Kingston

Two brothers were killed in an early morning attack yesterday while they were at a home in the Rollington Town community in Kingston.

Dead are 19-year-old Adonere Bowen and 17-year-old Jervauni Bowen, both of Lake Lane, Rollington Town.

Superintendent of Police Victor Hamilton of the Kingston East Division described the incident as "very tragic", but would only say that investigations are ongoing.

The Corporate Communications Unit reported that at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday, the teens and another male were at a house on Elleston Road, when four men armed with guns kicked opened the front door and shot them several times.

The Elleston Road police were summoned and the men were taken to the hospital.

The Bowens were pronounced dead on arrival. The other man is said to be in stable condition.
