Family of missing St Mary woman offers $1-million reward
The family of missing St Mary resident Tiffany Murray has increased the reward for any information leading to her whereabouts.
Speaking with THE STAR on Tuesday, Tiffany's sister, Alicia Murray, said that they decided to increase the reward from $600,000 to a $1 million with hopes that credible information will be forthcoming.
"We are very far from being rich, but right now we will move mountains to get Tiffany home. Everyone is optimistic that she will be found alive, as we don't want to think about the thought that she could be laying dead somewhere. We are not trying to bribe anyone, but we know that someone out there knows where she is, and we are willing to pay for her safe return," she said.
Tiffany Murray, 27, who hails from Palmetto Grove, was last seen on March 20, as she left home to seek a job in St James.
Alicia said that her sister got a telephone call about a possible job opening at a place named Moonlight Hotel in Montego Bay. It, however, turned out that she may have been tricked, as there is no hotel that matches that name in the parish.
"Tiffany is as innocent as she look in her pictures, and she would never get up and disappear like that. I know someone abduct her, and all we want is her, nothing else. I don't know why anyone would want to take her or even harm her. Please, I am begging anyone who has her to just have a heart and leave her somewhere out in the public where she can be found. Please, our family is going through hell," Alicia pleaded.
Anyone who may have seen or knows the whereabouts of Tiffany Murray is being asked to contact the Coral Gardens Police Station in Montego Bay at 876-953-3665 or 119. Anyone with information may also contact her sister at 876-414-3887.
