Chauntai 'Ali' Samuels, 22, disappeared without a trace two weeks ago, and her loved ones are worried sick.

Speaking with THE WEEKEND STAR on Thursday, Samuels' mother Jerdine Dixon said this behaviour is unlike her daughter, and she is pleading with anyone responsible for her disappearance to release her.

"I am hoping that they never ill-treat her and I want them to send her home to her family. If they don't wish to take her back, just let go or drop her off at the nearest police station. I really need to get her back," Dixon said. She said she was told that Samuels was last seen in her Kintyre, St Andrew community on May 5 where she allegedly met with someone.

"After that no one saw her and she just didn't return home. This is unlike her to just leave. Her three-year-old daughter lives with her father, but Ali would not leave her family," she said.

A missing person's report was made on May 8 by Dixon at the Papine Police Station. Samuels is of slim build and brown complexion. She was last seen wearing a white top and pink shorts.

"She lives alone and nothing is missing from her house. We were supposed to meet up the Saturday, which is the day after she went missing. I messaged her and up to now the message still hasn't gone through," Dixon said.

"I don't even know how I am coping and is just the strength of God keeping me. My own strength fail mi long time. I cannot eat, sleep or work. I just cant focus anything except finding my daughter," she added.

Loxley Samuels, father of the missing woman, said the days have been extremely stressful.

"I really want back my daughter. It's hard to focus on anything. She loves her baby passionately and every day she ask me for her and I don't know what to tell her," he said.

A $250,000 cash reward is also being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of Samuels. Anyone knowing Samuels' whereabouts is being asked to contact the nearest police station.
