'Lickle Dread' pleads guilty to stealing plantains

The St Catherine man who was arrested and charged with stealing  plantains from the ground of the Guys Hill High School, pleaded guilty when he appeared in court on Tuesday. 

Rohan Griffiths, otherwise, called 'Lickle Dread'  was sentenced to two years imprisonment for praedial larceny.

The facts are that on September 17, about 1:30 a.m., Griffiths was accosted on the farm of the educational institution with several bunches of plantains.

The police was called in and he was arrested.

Griffiths was subsequently charged following a question and answer session.
