The Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) has launched an investigation into a social media video gone viral showing a teenage girl being attacked in Clarendon.

It is unclear what caused the incident, but the video shows at least five adults restraining and beating the young girl, believed to be 14-years-old.

It is reported she was rushed to hospital for treatment.

The CPFSA also said it is ready to provide the necessary support to the child and her family, in keeping with our mandate.
